I’m selling my 1980 Toyota Supra with a 7MGTE and the R154 tranny. It is a very good running car and is very fast, it should easily be a low 12’s car because of the fantastic power to weight ratio, it only weighs about 2,500-2,600 lbs. No engine smoking, and no knocking, the car runs great. I got divorced last year and got stuck with a bunch of past due bills, besides having 2 daughters that need things, I regretfully have to sell my supra. I have enjoyed it for 3 years since we put it together and it never gave me any problems, and I will definitely regret selling it, but my family comes first. Just to make it clear, THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR, I put it together for racing, so the body is only ok, this car is an awesome sleeper because of its looks. It would make an awesome drag racer or drift car. Obviously for anyone wanting the 7MGTE and the R154 set-up, this is also perfect. Car has a 1992 Supra engine harness uncut, as well as the intercooler. Clean New York State Title. I will not sell the car for the ridiculous offers of $500- The R154 tranny alone sells for 700-800, and rear end alone sells for 600-700, not to mention a great running 7MGTE engine, and the UNCUT '92 engine harness. I'm asking a very reasonable amount only. For anyone that has a non-turbo supra and is interested in this car for the 7MGTE set-up, this is perfect for you. If you buy a 7MGTE at an engine place, it probably runs around 1,400-1,600, and that's just for the engine, and it's usually missing the starter, alternator, harness, and intercooler and whatever else might be missing. You can avoid the headache and buy my great running car and have everything you may need to have your car running the same day, and then you will still have the shell, suspension and rear end to sell to get some of your money back, it's a great deal.
