1979 JEEP CJ7 RENEGADE I bought this vehicle at an indiana estate sale. It has many new parts including a full set of RUNCK Bumbers, side steps and hitch. The tires are in newer condition as is the battery distributor plugs and wires, brand new fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, I just put a brand new gas tank and sending unIt and put it on myself, and the carb had a complete rebuild in feb of this year. The soft top is new also and is a BESTOP brand. The motor runs stong and the 4x4 and transmission work great. The motor is a 258 6 cyl with new gaskets as well. The title has an odometer discrepency because it does not carry enough spaces for 100,000 mles. It reads 84,798 and its really 184,798 miles, so that is why. The body is in ok condtion as well as the frame. I put 2 diamond plate sections on last week and you can purchase a kit to cover all the rust that this jeep has for about 200.00. Spare tire is in good shape. Floors are in good shape, Front seats are out of a Blue Renegade. There is one dent on the drivers side that you can get to to pound out easily. I just had the wheels aligned last week as well. It has an idling issue that Ive been working on. It, idles high, when you start it and after about 45 minutes running if you come to a stop it wants to die unless you keep giving it gas. It could be just a carb adjustment, but Im not a mechanic and I want to be upfront about this issue. IT WILL TAKE YOU WERE YOU NEED TO GO WITH NO PROBLEM, but this should be looked at to keep the motor healthy.
