i have a 1978 suzuki gs750 i was restoring to set out on display at shows..the bike is totally loaded with '' nos '' parts. the motor had about 6,200 miles on it to start with...this bike has more '' nos '' parts on it than ya can dream about..i built it with intentions of displaying it at car & bike shows. i do restorations as my hobby..this bike will be immaculate when completed. my original intention was to make it look like a 77- gs750 ''b'' model..it's got so much new stuff i dont know where to even begin here but oww well...i'll try and remember whats new..ok, frame was glass-beaded and professionally painted..swing arm rebuilt..brand new gas tank, tail-section, gauges,fuel petcock, lid, ect..all new rubber componets on the entire bike..all new wiring harness, brand new rear showa factory shocks on the rear..new mounting bolts, both front and rear brake calipers brand new out of the boxes, never had fluid in them, all new brake lines, forks rebuilt , new seals, dust boots, and completely polished. wheels; wheels was de-laced ..hubs was glass- beaded, edges re-polished, brand new rims, spokes , nipples, wheels re-laced and trued. brand new tires with close to original tread pattern..ignition coil...one is brand new..still need's a 1-4 coil. new swing-arm pivot bolt, nut, washer. brand new lower triple tree with tempkins bearings installed...i dont like factory ball bearings.,i replace with tempkin on every bike i restore. motor mount bolts was re-plated but..i'd re- plate them again. brand new foot-rest, pins ect..not just the rubbers on them...complete new units with new bushings..all new brake anchor bolts and nuts. the motor..was apart and inspected..has been cleaned cases re-painted ect..valve cover new..all new cylinder head nuts, bolts, washers, all new cam caps. new stator cover, clutch cover, points plate, shifter, kicker arm..all new carb manifolds and 0-rings, screws..new oil filter cover , screws, nuts, ect...all new exhaust bolts..gauges...top shell new, front cover new, speedo new, mounting bracket new..gauge rubbers new, mounting bolts and washers new..brand new fuel petcock, gas cap, suzuki tank emblems and screws, new side covers with new gs emblems, clips, new decals, new chain guard and mounting hardware, nos front fender...complete nos rear fender , new tail-light and mounting bracket..new lisc plate mount..new mounting screws and bolts..both left and right light switches and throttle brand new..new cables ,,original cables at that..brake rotors refurbished..new mirrors with new damper units..plastic still on mirrors from suzuki..new front and rear axles...new airbox rubbers.new air-box end caps ( 1977 ) black..photo's show air-box off the bike but it's included. ..i think you should get the picture here..i collected part for 4 -5 years to build this..i had parts shipped in from all over the world..there items on this bike that you will probably never see listed for sale on the net ever again. bolts was replaced with brand new originals if i could find them..and i has some on it too ! ok..the bike was bought with a bill of sale when i bought it...well...i'll sell it with a bill of sale..i have never went for a title ..i went once and talked to the bmv..after that..i said forget it..it's for display anyway so i'm not gonna mess with it..the bike need's ..a new stator..i robbed it for another bike i owned..i give you a front master cylinder with a new lever but will need a rebuild kit inside it..it has a new brake light switch on it now..bot front and rear switches are new. if you plan on starting the motor..you will need..shim the valves..i used odd sized shims during assembly because i didnt plan on starting the motor..period. will need oil, points and timing set..carbs was cleaned but will need set. carb brackets was even sent out and replated also..new allen head bolts in bowls and caps. new gaskets. like i said...i wanted this bike to look like it rolled off the dealers floor..and if someone has just a little knowledge and patience ..you can have one immaculate motorcyle. ...ok..payment..buyer must send a deposit of 300.00 on the bike thru pay-pal within 48 hrs of the end of the auction..the balance remaining must be paid within 7- days of end of auction.balance of the bike will not go thru pay-pal..the buyer will mail me a certified check of the balance on the bike. the bike will not be released untill the check has cleared the banking system. i will store the bike up to 30-days for free...i will not be responsible for shipping this bike..it is the buyers responsibility to make arrangments to pick the bike up from my residence.in the event your buy this bike than decide to bail out on the deal...you loose your 300.00 deposit and neg feed-back will be left on your behalf thru ebay..sorry..but we have way to many bad ebayers than like to buy then not pay for the items. the bike is ''not'' complete..it will need a exhaust..i would say if not a factory exhaust..i'd install a vance & hines 4-1 header..they really look nice on these..yes..your gonna need more parts to complete the bike..and no..i'm not including them ....oww i about forgot ..i have brand new original decals for the stator cover and the points cover...still in the factory wrappers. folks..theres so much new..i know i'v failed to list something. the photo's dont do this bike justice..it was over-cast and i didnt get really good shots..the bike is immaculate. you need finish this bike..it's had way too many $$$$$$$$ invested in it. lack of employment forces sale..thanks to a family member it's here for sale on ebay now. anyone with serious questions can email me direct at mnross57@yahoo.com ..stupid questions.like..what oil does it use, how much gas will it hold...nope..i'm not even gonna respond back. fuel tank. brake calipers, never have ever had fluid in either..all this stuff was brand new out of the suzuki factory boxes...like i said..it took 4-5 years to find this and i will tell you..the brake calipers, tail section, fuel tank was well in excess of a grand. not counting a immaculate seat..side-covers..ect. yeh..forgot..new rear master cylinder..new brake pedal , spring..ect...the whole bike basically was built with all nos parts off dealers shelfs. it takes years to find all this stuff. any misc parts i have left for the bike will be included in the sale, battery strap..front master cylinder parts..harness cover. this is not a ''joke '' fly by night restoration..i have been doing bikes for 40 + years..i take serious pride in my workmanship unlike lots of other people..i can email photo's of my previous restorations if you have any questions concerning my ability. i do these as a hobby..and display them for folks to admire and appreciate. there is several folks that will vouch for my workmanship...like i said..i take great pride in my work and go the extra yard so they come out beautifull.yeh..forgot... more new parts..headlight shell..headlight ears..trim rings..yeh all new..new turn signal ground straps also. new regulator..like new rectifier. new pads inside the battery box..new box bolts. new 77- turn signal relay.( factory original round style unit ). new air filter. opps forgot more parts..new oil pressure sending unit and housing, new cam chain tensioner, new neutral switch assembly, oil galley cap. new rear turn signals, brackets and bolts.new sprockets, tail-light assembly, new fork caps..all new brake rotor lock tabs, bolts nuts, .... seat...dealer take-off ..fantastic condition.
