Vehicle Detail

You are looking at my 1971 Superbeetle that unfortunately for me, I have to sell. I am the third owner, and have used her as my daily driver for 6 years. She gets 34+ MPG- Like a motorcycle with 4 wheels! The car has professionaly been maintained by the Bugstop in Arlington, Texas. This is a Texas car, I lived in Michigan for 2 years, so she has Michigan plates good till Feb 2012 and clear Michigan title. New ball joints, tie rod ends, new Factory carburator, new racing Botsch alternator, New fan and alternator shaft. New spark plugs, wires, distributor, fuel pump, oil change. Includes extra oil change kit. New belt and pully. New Transmission with new drive shaft and clutch. Clutch tube housing(inside of pan) was welded and brackeded to pan. Also the car has new clutch cable and accelorator cable. Transmission has less than 1000 miles! No rust anywhere on car! It had rust under the battery, from acid corrosion, but i had a steel plate welded to pan to patch it. I also installed a 4 into 1 merged manifold exhaust system with stinger made by Bugpack. New crome hubcaps, and so-cal T bars, new factory stainless steel trim, and new metalic purple paint, done right! (inside door, floor board, dash speaker plates, and glove box lid match exterior color). Working Craig tapedeck fm/am stereo with speakers(single factory mono speaker on the dashboard with two 6'9" speakers in rear). Speedometer does not work, however I have included a new speedo cable that has not been installed yet- fuel gauge works! A/C needs new compressor and fan motor to work. All a/c hoses and intakes, radiator for a/c, etc, are in working order. Actual miles on the car is between 65-75K, as speedo cable snaped at 59K. Rear passenger fender has minor ding at the bottom(see photo); needs bondo. Included with the car is extra paint, so you can touch up fender after bondo and fix any straches you may put on the car in the future. I hate to let her go, as she is a major head turner, so I hope someone will enjoy driving her as much as I have. Why drive a boring car? I may be willing to meet the new owner for delivery up to 150 miles, provided you compensate for gas. NO RESERVE!! Thank you and good luck bidding! Please feel free to email me any questions or for more pictures! UPDATE: Added some more pictures. Electrical system works fine. The car is ready for cross country and daily driving!
