You are bidding on a1971 Mercedes 220D. It is automatic, diesel, 4 cylinder. It has been in our family sitting in the garage for over 25 years. The engine was rebuilt couple of years back, and starts as soon as you pull the starting lever. It has a new battery also. The exterior paint is faded and probably would need a fresh coat of paint. However, the interior is in good shape. Except for a small rip in the drivers seat, everything else is in top shape. The car runs, but will probably need a little Love and Care, since it had been sitting for so long. All the accesories also work. The stereo,windshield wipers,lights, and heater work excellent. It does not have A/c, but can be added. This Mercedes is 100% Southern California car, so it has no signs of rust or anything like that. No major dents, the little rust you see by the trunk was caused by a leaking water pipe in my garage. The car was not washed very well either. The transmission shifts Ok, and the care does not smoke heavy like most all diesels.
