1946 Chevy Farm truck. It had a John Deere feed unloader on it when I bought it but it was not included in the sale. It still has the power take off to run it. It was in western Kansas when I bought it and had come from Colorado to there. I was told that the truck had been in the family since it was bought new in 1946. It starts, runs good and will go down the road. The points, plugs, condenser & distributor cap have been recently changed out. Anti freeze is clean & oil fresh. I have removed the gas tank from under the seat, swished it out & replaced it. The gas line and fuel filter have just been replaced. The front tires are in good condition. The rear tires hold air and should get you around town but I won't take them down the highway. It is newly licensed & insured and I had it out on the road and tested it and ran good. It has the original 6 volt system & all of the gauges seem to work. The battery that is in it is a little weak but with a jump, it starts right up. I have miss placed the key so I need to jump it to start it. The body all looks straight to me but I am no body man & have no idea if it has ever had body work done to it. The brakes & brake lights seemed to work fairly well considering how long it has been since it has been driven regularly. The rear seal on the master cylinder is leaking and I have a master cylinder kit ordered for it. I will probably have it rebuilt prior to the end of the auction but if it is not done, you get the kit with the truck. No guarantee it will be done. As far as I know this truck is all stock and working. It does have an electric fuel pump, not sure what type of fuel pump it originally had. The front has a cattle catcher on it which has saved the front grill which looks very good. It has a Mico brake system on it which I understand functions like a parking break. You pump the regular breaks up and then lock it on. I have not tried it since the master cylinder is leaking but should be a good feature when up and going. There is a knob on the dash that says MAXEY which I assume is for the power take off but I have not tried it. I was told the power take off works but no guaranty since I have not seen it run. There is no exhaust system on the truck. The glass keeps the weather out but is all cracked. Bottoms of each door seem to have a galvanized skin on them, not sure. Doors close tight and windows roll up and down with some help. I have not gotten the running lights or headlights to work. I am wondering if it is because they go through the ignition key and I don't have that. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: This sale is "AS IS." If you want to see it, come, look and inspect. This is a great old truck, I hate to sell it but I just have too many unfinished projects. You are welcome to come and inspect and drive it considering the brakes are repaired by the time you get here.
