We are offering a 1975 Triumph Spitfire that is in good condition and with basic restoration can be a daily driver. The car runs, drives and the OD works! This car was dry-stored for many years and has no significant rust out or panel damage. Original paint and trim. Can be buffed out and will look good. This is a very solid and complete car but will need an interior re-do and soft top. Some of the improvements completed to date are new front and rear brakes, ball joints, tie rod ends, hoses and master cylinders. New gas tank, sender, fuel pump, rebuilt Zenith carb and fuel lines. The starter was rebuilt, all new ignition parts, ignition switch, new battery and cables. Clutch slave, hose and master cylinder replaced. The head was rebuilt with new hardened valves seats and guides. New water pump w/ cl fan. More than $1600 invested in parts and machining. We started to build this car for our regular driver but have too many other projects and need to consolidate our efforts. Our reserve is reasonable based on purchase price and repairs completed. Clear VA title available. A $200 deposit will be required and final payment may be made through Pay-pal, bank check or cash within 10 days from end of auction.
