This beautiful Oldsmobile Ninety Eight coupe is being offered with no reserve. You are bidding to own this car! This Olds was purchased new in Troy NY and was registered and driven sparingly until 2009. It has just 35,500 original miles and is 100% original. It was ordered with A/C, power door locks, power windows, power seats, optional style 3 hub caps, vinyl roof, cornering lamps and bumper guards. You'll notice from the pictures that the original spare and jack have never been out of the trunk. There is no wear on the brake pedal pad and the interior shows minimal use. Even the A/C still works, as do the power windows and seats. There is absolutely no structural rust or rust holes in the body / chassis of this car. The body and trim are in very good condition. It starts, runs, and drives great with no mechanical issues whatsoever. No smoke or oil consumption at all. Power from the 455 big block is smooth and the acceleration is great. Tires are in very good shape. The paint is original and is showing its age. The paint is cracked and peeling below the rear window as shown in pictures; the rust there is only on the surface, there are no holes or deep pitting. The rubber tail light surrounds are brittle and broke off both sides. There are various cracks and bubbles in the paint all shown in pictures along the lower edge of the fenders & quarter panels. There are very few dings or dents with the one exception being a dent in the hood where the paint is now missing. I believe something was set on the inner fender and the hood was dropped, bending the hoood slightly and creating the dent. The vinyl top is in great shape with only two small splits on the passenger side rear corner under the window. All hubcaps are present and in excellent shape. The dash isn't cracked, seats, head-liner and door panels are pristine. There is an exhaust leak near the front, I believe it's the manifold to exhaust pipe doughnut. There is a trailer plug wired into the trunk and two bumper bolts are missing. I believe the trailer hitch was removed. I learned from a bidder that the hitch was bolted partially to the bumper on these cars.
