Thank You 1972 CHEVROLET C-10 CUSTOM 350 V8 TURBO HYDRA-MATIC TRANSMISSION MOSTLY ORIGINAL SURVIVOR NO RESERVE After much consideration and the need to build a new house I have decided to sell some of the vehicles in my collection. It breaks my heart to offer for sale this fine 1972 CHEVROLET C-10 CUSTOM with a 350 V8 and TURBO HYDRA-MATIC TRANSMISSION. I have the documentation including the ORIGINAL TITLE, OWNERS MANUAL, MAINTENANCE GUIDE, AND WARRANTY GUIDE WITH THE ORIGIANL METAL PROTECT-O-PLATE STILL ATTACHED that shows this C-10 was sold new from Embry Chevrolet in Tipton, MO. to Gail and Loretta Golden and was in their possession until Loretta sold it in 1993 with 61,612 miles on it. The truck now has 82,403 miles on it but due to the age of the vehicle I must sell it to be mileage exempt. It appears that some years back the truck had the rockers replaced and the left right bed side was painted. Other than that the truck appears to have the original paint and YOU CAN EVEN STILL SEE THE CHALK NUMBERS ON THE FIREWALL from when the truck was new. The interior is the original and is in very nice condition. There are three small spots behind the right rear wheel opening were you can see rust starting to bubble but other than that this truck is for the most part rust free. This truck runs and drives perfect! This C-10 truly gets attention. I have always enjoyed all the waves, thumbs up, and horn honks that I get while driving this truck. As stated above this truck is mostly original paint so you can see some areas were the paint is getting thin almost showing primer. It is a 1972 so there are some knicks in the paint and a small scratch here and there. BUT, overall for it's age it is a great looking truck. I am not going to say it is a perfect Barrett-Jackson quality vehicle but it is truck that you can drive, take to shows, and be very proud of. INTERIOR: Impressive! There is one tear about 1 inch long on the back of the seat on the right side and 2 small holes about 1/4 inch on the top of the seat. Other than that the interior looks very close to the way it did in 1972. DRIVETRAIN: Starts, runs, and drives great. Motor runs strong and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smooth and solid. Pick this truck up and drive it anywhere. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction.
