1962 MGA 1600 MKII Roadster Vin: 62GHNL2 / 104315 Engine number: 16GC-U-H4146 Engine size: 1622cc 93hp with manual transmission Original Ignition Key Number: FP 638 Purchased Feburary 22nd, 1962 in Fresno, California Original Iris Blue exterior(NO touch-ups), Black Interior with light Blue piping Light Blue soft top and side windows Factory Ordered chrome centre-locking wire wheels, it was an option if you asked for it. Dealer installed aluminum valve cover and velocity stacks. Original Yokes air cleaners, valve cover and muffler included. Original spare tire and rim have never been used Original hand tool kit and supplemental tool kit with jack not used Original factory Key and leather Key Fob Paperwork includes Operating manual, dated service policy and dated warranty certificate. This little MGA is just as clean as she looks. It is an original one owner car with original mileage. The car was purchased by a good friends father, he sadly passed away and as you can see the car has been meticulously cared for all of her life. It's never been driven in the rain or left outside in the sun, in fact, the side windows were used once and the top has been up twice. His wife had a new haircut, they went to dinner and at her request, Big Ed put the top up. The top has been down with paper towels in between the folds to keep from scratching. Over 60 oil/filter changes have been preformed in 49 years, every 1000 miles. Big Ed even cleaned the wheel wells after each drive. He and his wife loved one day trips driving to Yosemite National Park, The Sierra Nevada Mountains, Napa Valley and along The Northern California Coast. The car runs wonderful, there's no smoke or odd noises, no leaks and Big Ed's son believes she still has the original points, he remembers watching his father removing and cleaning them after each drive. The chrome is all original and beautiful, the dash is nice, even the color on the RPM gauge is bright. Everything works in the car, the doors open and close great, hood and trunk are aligned as they were from the factory. The drivers seat shows a little use as you can see in the pictures, but still very clean. The only repairs to the car have been: Brake master cylinder replaced Muffler and rear half of tail pipe replaced to add new tip, the original muffler is included and still very good, it was a performance upgrade. Both headlights replaced at different time, they do not match, but are vintage GE Front disc brake pads replaced once All rubber hoses replaced with correct British maker The only two piece's needing attention are the heater fresh air intake duct down near the nose, it has a small tare and should be replaced. And the front license plate is a bit curled under.
