You are bidding on a 1960 Triumph TR3A with overdrive– VIN # TS66617LO. This car has been in our car club (TRAC – Triumphs around the Chesapeake) for about 10 years. I have owned it for 5 and continued the restoration and refurbishment started by the previous owner who did a frame off restoration. The car has 76900 miles and has been driven about 5000 since I acquired it. Renovations have been extensive including re-bushing rear shocks and carburetors, upgrading front suspension bushes to polyurethane reupholstering the cab and dashboard. Replacing the capillary temperature gauge, replacing clutch hose and most recently it has been converted to silicone brake fluid. The manifolds were shot blasted and powder coated. It has a new battery. The top is as new as are the side windows which have only been on the car once so I could be sure I knew how to fit them. The car is very clean, rust free (it never goes out in the rain) and a great driver – in part due to the overdrive which gives an effective 7 speed box. It won second place in last years MGOB Rocks car show. There is nothing that currently needs attention on the car, everything works, it is serviced and ready to drive and enjoy. I have used Raspi’s British Imports (410-612-1280) for a lot of the mechanical work and Mark did inspections for me when I was looking for a TR3A. He knows the car and I would recommend that any prospective buyer contact Mark and arrange an inspection/assessment prior to purchase. The TRAC club and RAC badges are not included in the purchase otherwise the pictures tell the story.
