This bike is in excellent shape and is ready to ride .it is in original condition , its hasn't been pieced together it is how it came from the factory, unmolested it has original paint. Both side covers have cracks but both still function and paint looks great on both sides . .It has a brand new battery ,a tool kit and rider manual are included ,I also just replaced the plugs, motor oil,filter, front brake has been rebuilt and bled, there are no leaks of any kind . The inside of the tank is clean and all carburetors are operating properly,both front and rear tires are new and it handles and stops great. The 550 has great power and is a fun ride, I prefer over the CB500 ,I considered making a Cafe with this motorcycle but it is in such great original condition that I didn't want to anything to hurt its history or originality . This motorcycle is not new and it is not perfect but it is by far the nicest CB550 I have seen in person it has been well cared for and it shows, its not showroom condition but pretty close to it, it's in super clean shape for its age,the chrome is not new but pretty close, as you can see in the pictures. If you are interested in making a cafe racer this would be a great foundation to start with , it runs great and it is mechanically sound . It is currently registered and insured in Connecticut, where I live and I try to take it out once a week for a quick ride . Connecticut is a non title state but there are no issues with the bike past or present. I will ship it out anywhere in the world , buyer sets up and pays for transport and all details that go along with shipping.
