This is a Ford Model A rolling chassis of approximately February 1931 vintage, based on the engine number and supported by the radiator and carburetor designs. The engine number appears to be stamped AA4333084. It runs and drives and many parts appear to be new or recently redone/fresh. When I purchased it the chassis was presented as having been restored by the previous owner prior to passing away. To my direct inspection I find that the spark plugs, coil, cap, plug wires, distributor plate, points/condenser (Nu-tek), water pump, fan, original style exhaust and carburetor internals appear to be new. Other parts may also be new but have a fine coating of oxidation, for example, the clutch and flywheel assembly. I have not inspected engine or gearbox internals. I did not do the work myself on the vehicle, so I am not sufficiently familiar with the details, just reporting my personal findings. I have a number of other projects at the moment and this one is too good to let sit for some indeterminate time while I work on other things. Restore a Model A, build a Speedster, Hot Rod, Rat Rod, whatever your thing. This is a solid starting base for any cool Model A project.
