Vehicle Detail
1965 Factory Five Racing Shelby Cobra - 351EFI with supercharger (runs flawlessly with a simple twist of the key) Can be driven from rather tame all the way to OMG what was I just thinking. - Tremec 500 transmission - fresh paint job (I'm told it looks like a wet gumball) - As they say, pictures are worth a thousand words... the car is in perfect condition. It needs nothing other than someone who's got the time to drive it. It was built by FFR guys in '04, but it's registered as a 1965 so there's no emissions requirements and the insurance is cheap! If you've got any questions or would like to see other photos, please feel free to contact me at 518-788-1412. On May-16-11 at 09:44:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I've been getting a lot of questions: I believe this is a MARK III, it was built by some of the guys at FFR, but not at the Factory itself. It was built for a gentleman that passed away before he ever had the chance to race it... the family has been of little or no help as they know nothing about it. We went through the entire car last summer and updated/tuned her to what she is now. It really needs nothing. It has never been on a dyno, so I don't know the actual HP, but there are a couple smaller pulleys available that could be put on the supercharger to make more boost, but I wanted to keep it reliable and as "safe" as possible to drive. I took one guy out this weekend and all he did was giggle like a little kid. It runs fine on 89 but prefers 92-93. It really likes 50/50, but that's too expensie to run all the time. It has an enormous oil pan and took something like 11 quarts to fill it. Yes, it's EFI and starts everytime.
