Vehicle Detail
1984 Authentic 50th Anniversary Edition 300ZX Turbo with automatic - see VIN #. Painted from the original silver/black combination to all black in January of 2004 with DuPont Chroma two stage paint. Paint still shines great. Engine starts immediately with the turn of the key. Engine idles properly, and pulls extremely hard. Very durable. The transmission shifts through all gears. Has 4 recent Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires. Still have plenty of tread. Recently installed brand new starter, alternator, and brake pads at all four wheels. Also, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, coolant temperature sensor, cam seals, timing belt tensioner, drive belt (besides AC compressor) were all replaced during regular maintenance. The left & right front control arms (with ball joints) were both replaced less than 1,500 miles ago. At the same time, both left and right tie rod assemblies were replaced. It has an Apexi BOV. Also, it has a 3" elbow with a K&N cone filter. In addition, it has a Hallman Boost Controller with cockpit remote. I fine tuned the boost years ago, then left it at that setting. Included is an AutoMeter Boost gauge. The car does not smoke or burn oil. It does not knock or detonate. I use 93 octane fuel only. It has the all original black Anniversary edition only interior, including the logo on the seats. The headliner does not sag. Has the original mirrored t-tops with aftermarket locks. This Z does not sag - the springs are in great shape, as it sits very level. As expected from a 1984, it has a few areas that need a little attention. The radio does not work. I took it to a repair shop about 6 years ago, but they could not fix it. They did not return the original faceplate, thus I have a non original (and non working) radio in the car. The original radio will go with the sale of the car. There are a few small rust spots starting to develop. There is minor front bumper cover damage from a 5 MPH incident several years ago. Has a small rock chip in lower passenger side of windshield. Needs muffler hanger. I purchased this Z with a TMU title in 2002. I have never had a problem registering it, inspecting it, insuring it, or titling it. This is not a project car. It is not a rebuilt car. It does not have a rebuilt title, but it does have a TMU title. This Anniversary Z was my an extremely reliable daily driver for years. I have other cars, so it gets driven rarely now. It is registered, insured, and has a current New Jersey inspection sticker - emissions were great. Owned by a responsible Z owner. Car was always, and remains maintained well. Feel free to ask all questions about this vehicle's condition. If interested, please schedule with me to have a mechanical and visual inspection of this Anniversary Z.
