1973 Ford Thunderbird This nice survivor has been sitting for about a year before I bought it. And now it still has been sitting for another year or so what. Someone poked a hole in gas tank to steel the gas, and took a long time to previous owner to find another gas tank. I found it an very nice car, whit a wonderful color combo: light metallic blue, with the light blue vinyl top, and white leather interior. And was planning to restore it, as it should be an easy job as it don’t has to much things to do on it. The car does haves a straight body. The paint is faded and should need a repaint. As expected it does haves some rust on lower fenders and quarters, and that is! The interior is in great shape: crack free dash pad, and the leather seats are in fair condition, without rip or tears, only showing minor wear. The door panels are also in good conditions, and the only detail are the door pull straps, which have some cracks. Otherwise things changed and now is time to downsizing, and it deserves a better home where someone has the right time to get over it. It is a low mileage car for his age, and the amazing 460 engine is very good and soundly, and whit a good battery the car fires right up and runs great, but only if you put gas down the carburetor. The fuel tank is inside the trunk and would need to be installed before you could drive. Previous owner drove the car to work and back before the tank was damaged. But car has sat for a while and I am not sure how much work it will need now. Probably the brakes should need some attention now. Would like to see it go to the right hands, who can bring it back to his shinny days, that I feel it does have more good reliable years remaining on it! NO TITLE !
