1989 Red XJS Convertible, a truly honest vehicle which I have owned for six years, driven only in good weather. New tires, less than 500 miles, canvas(roof) is in pretty good condition, a new canvas and liner (value $900) is included, Paintwork is original, has a few dings but nothing major. Compression and oil pressure excellent. New injectors and fuel hoses fitted in 2009, rebuilt differential, new shocks. New ignition system, CD player ( I have original radio) Rides smooth and effortlessly Lots of bills and service receipts. AC works fine, heater can be a little temperamental. No rust whatsoever. Electric door mirrors don't work, ABS switch is faulty, currently disconnected, brakes work fine and it passes the state inspection like this. This is a genuine low mileage car and has been a dream to own, weather permitting it could be a daily driver no fear. This car was listed and potentially sold two weeks ago however I noticed a leak which was a faulty thermostat gasket, all gaskets and the thermostats replaced last week. (NEVER replace only one thermostat on a V12) Reason for sale.. time for a change.
