1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 455 "Numbers Marching Car".. Original motor and trans. One of only 503 automatic Formula 455's built in 1973. Much rarer than a 1973 Trans Am 455. Just over 79,000 original miles. The car was partially restored about five (5) years ago. A full restore was not needed. The car was in very nice condition when I bought it 22 years ago. The car was repainted with all the chrome, weather stripping, door panels and glass removed. All the glass and weather stripping was replaced. Glass was replace because of scratches and fine pitting. Original rear glass was heated (very rarer, first year option), but was replaced with standard glass. There is no replacement heated rear glass available new. New carpet. The engine was freshened (rebuilt) up with a Ram Air III cam, Ram Air D port exhaust manifolds and HEI dist. were added. The car is loaded with options. AC, power windows, tilt, trim package, handling package (heaviest sway bar and spring available), variable ratio steering, rear bumper bumperetts (not on car, but I have them) and I added power door lock actuators with wiring up to kick panels for remote entry (not completed). The original manifolds, distributor, trim ring and bumperetts come with car. NOTE: The chrome air cleaner top does not come with car. I will put the original back on (perfect condition). The AC has just been worked on. Leak in line repaired and new bearing on compressor. AC has not been tested for leaks, but not been charged. This is a no rust, very straight car in nearly show condition. Paint is gorgeous. The car is always covered and seldom is driven. Only to show. Good luck in bidding. Car is also being shown locally.
