Up for Auction: NO RESERVE AUCTION! 1985 Jeep CJ7 258 Straight 6 motor 4 speed manual transmission with new clutch Power Steering Stock Dana 30 front axle Disc Breaks Stock AMC 20 rear axle It has 3 inch Skyjacker soft ride suspension lift with a reverse shackle kit This Jeeps drives and handles like you wouldn't beleive. Nicest driving CJ7 we have ever had by a long shot. Power Steering is super tight The list of new things on this Jeep is long. The only thing that hasn't been touched is the motor, which is all original. Runs good and has good power, but sometimes it smokes. I believe it has a valve guide seal on the #6 cylinder that is sometimes acting up. This problem could easily be fixed with new valve guide seals. We have just run out of time and money on this project to do ourselves. Or you canpurchase a manufactured engire for these Jeeps for relatively low costs. With new motor this Jeepnn would easily be an 11-12,000 dollar vehicle. The motor was going to be All body panels from the fenders back have been replaced It has 32/11.50/15 BF Goodrich All Terrains, 50% tread- Still lots of miles left Has Brand New spare that has never been run Jeep is exceptionally straight with new lipstick red basecoat and clearcoat. This is the brightest, flashiest red you will ever see. The pictures don't do it any sort of justice. New Half Doors and nice strapless bikini top- no snap holes or any other holes in the body. The factory roll bar is painted to match. Inside of the tub has been lined with Herculiner bedliner material. All the tire rack, bumper, etc has all been coated with a fine finish bedliner spray (looks very nice, and smoother, not so rough) Windshield gaskets, tailgate, weatherstripping, cowl weatherstripping are all new This Jeep is decked out in brand new stainless and annodized nuts and bolts All new lights and turn signals. Tail lights are flush mounted LED. New Grant steering wheel Nice aftermarket reclining bucket seat, on adjustable seat rails, mounted on original Jeep jumpseat mounts All headlights, tail lights, turn signals work All gauges work, including the fuel, however it could be off a little due to the aftermarket 20 gallon fuel tank. 4 wheel drive works and has aftermarket Selectro hubs. This Jeep is flashy and gorgeous! A head turner for sure. The pictures really don't do it justice. With all of the new stainless parts its showy, but not over the top ridiculous, like you see some of these Jeeps. Jeep hasn't been driven since all work has beem done. Super Clean amd solid!
