NO RESERVE AUCTION!! VIN: 306706 Engine Number: 961xxx 901/02 w/ S Weber 40 Carbs Color Code 6602 Polo Red Welcome. You are bidding on a original Porsche 1967 911 Coupe. This car has been in storage for the past 30 years or so and was recently uncovered. I was told that the shown mileage was original. I never got any of the records with the car, however I do have a clean New Jersey title. This title was issue in 1974! Please take a look at the pictures and read the description. I have added a link to a Photobucket album that contains videos of the doors closing and the engine running. http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii152/MrBMW2002/22scoupe/ Exterior: This car was originally Polo Red from the factory. It has been poorly repainted its original color. This car does have some minor rust issues by the jack spur and rockers(as seen in the pics). The doors close like they did from the factory. Interior: This car still retains its original interior. The dash is in excellent shape as with the door panels. The radio is missing, but has never been cutout for a larger unit. The car still has the original seats w/ factory optional headrests. The rubber mats are in very good shape(just dirty) and come complete with the original fasteners. The carpet was pulled out of the car prior to me owning it. This car has a real 1967 911s leather wrapped steering wheel in nice shape. Engine/ Transmission: This car has the holy grail of the early engines. This car has a real aluminum case 1967 2.0 S engine in it. The number is hard to read as it was ground, or scratched, but one can clearly see the 961xxx and the 901/02. It has the original and rare 911S Weber carbs. The carbs were recently rebuilt. The fuel tank should be drained and cleaned as it has bad gas in it. This car has a 5spd 901 transmission. I have not checked if it has limited slip or not. This engine fires up and sounds good, however it should be tuned before attempting to drive. This car still has the original SWB engine sound deadening material installed and in great shape. Wheels/Suspension/Brakes: This car has a very nice set of original chrome wheels and caps. The tires all hold air. The suspension on appears to be the original to the car. The brakes hold up a bit on the car and should be gone through prior attempting to drive. Trim/Spares: This car has the SWB S trim that has not been put back on the car. It is in a box as well as other spares. Overall: This is a great chance to get into an early 911 coupe. Matched with the 67S engine this should be a very fun car to drive. With a proper paint job, cleaning the gas tank, attention to the brakes and a service; this would be a nice driving car. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
