Vehicle Detail
Thanks for looking at my listing. Here is a real clean unmolested 1972 Plymouth Duster. The miles are actual at 94,028, but because of the year the title shows "exempt". This car drives excellent and turns heads everywhere is goes. Let's face it there aren't many of these dusters left and this one is in very good condition. This is a chance to have a "classic car" to take to car shows this summer and spend less than $10,000! Truly a rare opportunity indeed. It's easy to find a late model car that is in good condition, but to find one that is almost 40 years old and looks like it is two years old and hasn't been restored is a FIND! The Duster is powered by a 225 cu in slant six (that runs great). The transmission is a three speed automatic and works excellent. It even has factory air conditioning. The compressor seems to be in good working order, but needs to be charged. The Duster has drum brakes on all four corners and is the smaller 4" bolt circle pattern. It also features power steering. The underneath of the car is in real good condition. I wouldn't call it perfect as it is unrestored and is nearly 40 years old. The floors are great and the inner panels are all good. I have included a couple of photo's, judge for yourself. For a unrestored car it is so clean it is unbelievable. The quarter panels and wheel wells show no signs of rust. The interior is unrestored and in very good condition. Only the drivers seat shows some wear. The origional floor mat is nearly perfect! The door panels are all great! The headliner looks like new. The glass is all good and windows work like they should. The dash looks like the day it was new. A note that the gas guage and temperature gauge are not working. Probably a ground. On a scale of 1 to 10 the body and paint are a strong 7 or a low 8. It is real nice even up close. Even though I would not consider this car to be a "show car" I have had it in shows and it has had alot of positive feedback. There is a small hair-line scratch on the drivers side quarter panel above the marker light that is about 5" long, it's hard to see and could be left as is. Chrome on the car including bumpers is excellent. The Cragar SS wheels (15" X 8") are BRAND NEW ! The tires are 21570RX15 and they are new too! I will also include the factory 14" wheels (see photo) that gave the car a COPO look. If you would like more information about the Duster please call CARSTORE at 308-380-1040 or send me a e-mail. Remember by bidding you are entering into a legal binding contract. bid ONLY if you intend to buy! Buyer is responsible for transporting the vehicle. I have good feedback so Bid with Confidence! A little about me, I have been in the car business for over 30 years and have always dealt in classic cars. I do know a "Good One" from a "Bad One", and this is a Good One! Seriously! Thanks and Happy bidding!
