I bought this bus intending to restore it but my wife and I are preparing to move and we cannot take it with us. This is an original 1967 hardtop westfalia camper. Please assume this vehicle needs full restoration. It would make a great project as the value of these busses keeps rising. This bus has been parked in the high desert since 1981. Last registered in may of 1981 with Oklahoma plates. This bus is being sold with a bill of sale only, buyer will need to file for a lost title which should be very easy since this vehicle has been purged from dmv records. Oregon bill of sale provided. The bus is very dry, pretty minor rocker rust, a bit of body damage to the passenger rear corner, drivers side is very straight and very solid. Passenger floor will need patched, cargo floor is pretty solid. drivers sliding glass is missing. Original cabinets are missing, included is a z-bed, pad, and closet from a 70 westy. A disassembled 1600 single port engine is included, I believe it is mostly complete. I have another 1600cc dual port longblock I purchased for this project to rebuild, it can be included for and extra $200 if the buyer wants it. It turns over freely and has been protected out of the weather and should be an easy rebuild. Both original front seats are present. Dash is uncut. rear wheel arches are uncut- splitty air cleaner and a few boxes of misc parts are included. This is a project bus. It is sold as-is, where-is. I will assist with loading of the vehicle in any way I can. I will not transport the vehicle for the buyer. Bus is for sale locally and auction will be deleted if sold locally. $500 paypal deposit required for purchase. the balance in cash or check (must clear before vehicle is picked up).
