This very special 1988 Lincoln Town Car is a (our) one-family car, purchased and always garaged in Dallas. 87K miles on the original engine and carefully maintained by it’s now elderly buyer. Fantastic ride, quiet and handles like new. The car runs strong and smoothly . All maintenance records are available and they document mileage progression. Leather interior, lots of features. Included will be 5 extra wheel covers, wheel cover locks, one set of pneumatic hood lifts and original Owner’s Guide with leather cover. Here are the quirks: 1. One rear floor mat is missing (sadly, stolen during a recent oil change). The carpet IS perfect. 2. The pneumatic pistons that assist in lifting the hood are not operable. We have stopped replacing them but an operable set is included 3. The left rear power window drops smoothly but raises in spits and spurts so requires manual assistance. 4. The glove box button that opens the trunk does not work. 5. There are four spots on this car where the paint has been nicked or scratched: one dent on left rear door, one set of knicks on right rear door, a spot on the trunk, and one scrape at the bottom of the left rear fender. Pics of each are included. 6. A driver’s left - elbow pad was installed on the drivers door and is not in perfect condition. 7. New muffler is needed. 8. Analog clock does not work well 9. Gas gauge shows full until the last quarter tank when it drops and measures accurately. The car is available for inspection in North Dallas near Campbell and Coit- please e-mail me if you are interested. Shipping arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility, but I will do all that is within reason to help the auto-movers if needed. Of course, we have the clear title.
