Up for auction is a two-owner 1968 Chevy 1/2 ton 4X4 pickup. My father bought this truck in 1976. Mileage shows 81k, but I assume it has turned over once. Truck runs and drives excellent and everything works. Truck was well maintained as my father was a mechanic at a local Chevy dealership. It has been sitting for the last year and a half, and was rarely driven in the past 10 years or so. It was originally a 307 but in the late 80's when I was in high school we rebuilt a 350 and installed it. The transmission was rebuilt about 4-5 years ago. The only other modifications are an electric fan was installed. The tires are matching and in excellent condition. The body is rough, but it is not "falling apart rough". I have driven it around a bit to test everything, but since it has been sitting a while I would be hesitant to drive it a long distance so I would suggest trailering it.
