NO RESERVE LOCATED IN HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA I am selling my 1985 Mercury Marquis. The car is in good condition re bodywork/interior and is clean. Has 109,000 original miles. I am the 2nd owner. I got it from an old lady who has had it since new. I have a copy of the original pink slip that was issued. The car runs ok but there are some problems which i will outline honestly: 1. leaking coolant 2. leaking some oil 3. starts and runs and you can drive it, but it starts rough and its making a few wierd noises. you need to do some work to it i think. i showed my mechanic and he does not think its major (possible problem with coolant tank or a pipe leaking somewhere). i know nothing about cars so you're guess is as good as mine. oil leak i am not sure and it seems to be burning oil a bit. need oil change for sure and someone to look at this maybe.... 4. drivers seatbelt spring has gone, so where you secure the seatbelt this spring needs replacing. right now when you wear seatbealt it pops lose cause the spring inside the clasp is broken. this is simple to fix! 5. The body is is good order but as you can see from photo the trim has come up on one side and needs to be just bent back and secured. CAR SOLD AS IS...you will certainly need to do a few things to it yourself, either you (if you know about cars) or your mechanic... all of this may be nothing if you know about cars but like I said i have no clue I also got new water pump fitted recently and had some of the pipes changed. Automatic Transmission, cruise control. Clean title, registration and all fees are paid!!! I have SMOG, which it passed back in december when i got the car. I do not have pink slip in hand but have proof of ownership! Has the great leather cover roof which is all original. even the air con and the radio, everything works perfect inside...NO RESERVE, PICK UP ONLY!! despite the few problems it has this is a good car!! thank you!!
