Up for auction is my 1968 Pontiac GTO. This car is PHS documented and mostly original and runs great. This car is in excellent driver condition. The car is Verdoro green with Black interior. Verdodo green is a darker metallic green that looks great. Both exterior and interior colors are original. I have the numbers matching original complete 400ci motor on a cradle that will be included with the auction which runs fine but needs to be rebuilt. Currently the car has a 68 correct 400ci engine that has been rebuilt in the last year. The engine was rebuilt to factory specs except for the camshaft. The cam is a more modern Comp Cams brand. Almost all other components in the drivetrain are original to the car. Factory Turbo 400 shifts great and is original to the car. Torque converter is also new. The car has a new full stainless exhaust system with factory type Ram Air Exhaust Manifolds that flow like headers but have the factory cast look and are ceramic coated. Rearend is also original to the car. The body is in what I would call good condition and is solid. The car has been repainted prior to my ownership. Body is straight and free of dents. The body panels all appear to be the original from what I can tell. There are two spots on the hood where the paint appears to be bubbling but are hardly noticeable. These spots are very small. Overall the exterior body/paint I would say is an excellent 10 footer if that makes sense. Trunk and floorboards are solid with no visible rust. Frame is also solid. Exterior chrome/stainless trim and glass are in excellent condition. As seen in the pictures the car has the correct steel wheels with redline tires and original poverty caps. The wheels have just been powdercoated and are perfect. The interior is in excellent condition and is original except for the carpet which has been replaced. Seats are also in great shape. As stated the car is an auto trans. car and has the factory His/Hers Hurst shifter. Im sure I am forgetting something but I try to be as accurate as I can with my descriptions. As I stated earlier this car has mostly original components intact which is getting very hard to find these days. Email any questions and I will be happy to answer them as best I can.
