Vehicle Detail
1973 Volkswagen Bus No reserve I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle. This is one of those items: We just received this beautiful little Volkswagen Bus from one of our local Bulverde residents. The bus was parked in a local storage for the last 11 years. We got the Bus and we checked the gas tank. It was empty, which is good. We changed the oil, added gas and a new battery, and the beautiful girl came to life. The Volkswagen runs very well. The gears work well, but it needs brakes as we had to stop it with the hand brake. It is a fantastic restoration project. What is good about the Volkswagen: It has a clear Texas title. It is solid underneath. It runs well. It will be sold with no reserve. It has an original owner’s manual What is not so good about the Volkswagen: It needs a slight restoration such as paint and interior work. It needs a brake job. The side sliding door handle is broken. It has surface rust The front windshield has a crack in the corner. The VW will be sold with no reserve, so if you want it, this is the time to bid on it. It is a fantastic restoration project. And bring your trailer; we will help you load it up. “All the inspections must be done before the auction closes.” Please, please, please be sure that you have the money to purchase the car if you are bidding. Remember that this antique car is 38 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person, and if you are not sure, please don’t bid. I’m into antiquities and I don’t know that much about automobiles in detail. Please come and check it as I am expressing how I see the vehicle. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $300 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All of this being said please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. Or come by and check it out in person before you bid. The car will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. All the inspections should be made prior to purchasing the car. For pricing regarding classical automobiles you can refer to www.nadaguides.com We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally. Good luck and have fun.
