Project / Parts Car - 1961 190 Db. Good parts car for restoring or swapping to another chasis. Engine and front subassembly were removed and refurbished - Fuel injectors professionally rebuilt, subassembly rubber components and motor mounts replaced, transmission drained and refilled. Brakes have been refurbished. New master cylinder, new linings on rear brake shoes. Fuel tank removed, cleaned and reinstalled. Exhaust system like new, solid pipes, rust free muffler. Car runs, and has been driven thru all 4 gears for road test. Engine / Transmission would be an easy, ready to install swap with another car of this same body style. Some rust on floor pans, and front end of side body channels. Both front seats and rear bench seat included in good condition, 6 original matching wheels. Tires need replacement. Could be restored as a project car - all four doors are solid, slight rust on bottom. Engine Hood, and rear deck lid, solid, cleaned and preserved on inside. Body work remains... approx 5 spots have surface pitted rust the size shown in photo (photo is sanded down to bare metal). Auction is for the car as pictured... stripped down chasis, with doors, trunk and engine compartment lids, Engine and the original cardboard ventillation ducts with functioning, refurbished heat exchangers on both sides. Could be driven onto a dolly to tow away. I still have all of the removed parts, including new trunk and door seals, but they are NOT part of this auction.
