This is being sold as is with no warranty. It is a solid car that is in need of some mechanical repairs. I am the second owner of this car. I purchased it in 2002 at 120k. and have driven it daily up until last week. The car has been dealer maintained at Van Herpt Motors of Kingston, On. and also oil sprayed annually. The steering rack seals are leaking fluid and require replacement. The car uses approx. 2 ounces of steering fluid every 5000 kms. In 2004 the dealer replaced the a/c evaporator core and certified the a/c system. Last year the a/c compressor quit working and is in need of replacement. The glove box latch has broken and I have removed the cover to permit access. The interior is clean and free of any tears or damage except for normal wear. I have not smoked in the car, however I believe that the previous owner had. There are 3 spots of surface rust on the driver's side rear door skin. This is the only rust I am aware of (see pic). A 3" section of the rear vinyl bumper skirt has separated at the seam (see pics). The tires have 80,000 kms on them and will require replacement within the next year. The starter motor, battery and serpentine belts have all been recently replaced. This month the engine began to leak engine oil. My mechanic inspected the vehicle and determined the the rear main engine seal requires replacement. This is the reason that I am selling it. This would be a great car for someone with some mechanical skills who is able to correct the a/m issues. The car is not insured and as such cannot be test driven. The purchaser is responsible for making their own arrangements to pick this car up in Kingston, Ontario at their expense. Vendor will not ship vehicle.
