1999 Mercedes E 320 4matic wagon. Second owner last 10 years, bought a Prius for the long commutes so the wagon can go to a good home. Way better to drive than a minivan, and much safer in my mind with thousands of pounds of good German steel and lots of airbags surrounding your family. The good: no trouble lights on, new tires (about 3000 miles) very high end Michelins, spare set of Mercedes wheels with worn out snow tires. Never had any engine or transmission troubles (did replace the gearshift mechanism after pouring a cup of coffee in it) Complete new brakes drums rotors and pads about 6000 miles ago. Runs and drives well. I drive the car anywhere, last year took a 12 hour and a couple of 6 hour trips without concern. The bad: Front air dam removed, some rust spots (shown in photos), rear hatch does not lock (but the alarm works, and other doors lock), need pliers to pull the hood release cable, front right wheel has broken off lug nut. Radio button is gone, but radio works fine just need to use a paper clip or bobby pin to change the stations. Need to clear the space in the garage, so this is a no reserve true auction, opening bid $1.00. I've tried to list everything here and the photos show the problems clearly.
