Vehicle Detail
Pretty straight T bird! Runs well but has a fuel leak in the gas tank, working on that one now. No rust issues that I can see. My client has told me the heater core is not goodthe tilt wheel mechanism is'nt tight as it should be, and the car has a non op. California blue and Gold plates. Looks great inside, I will get more pics after I get it running this week. The photos are limited, the car may be seen at our facility in Santa Clara. I'm sure there will be more to tell you when the owner has had a chance to see what I've listed for him. I intend to sell to bidders with a rating of 5 or better only. I got burned the last sale and have yet to get it cleared up so I may relist it. Please do not bid if you do not see that this car is in California and it requires you to pay for it if you are the winner. Duh?On Apr-28-11 at 09:13:50 PDT, seller added the following information: This morning I took the time to do a more thorough review of the car. I popped the hood to find a 429 engine that looks bone stock, even the exhaust heat riser was in place. All the factory decals were there also. I figured I'd try to start it to see what happened and it fired right up! The exhaust is very quiet, the engine ran exceptionally good. I was on a roll so I tried some of the creature comforts. The AM FM stereo worked but not the left front speaker, the power seats worked but the forward back action just tried, did'nt move. In looking over the interior I found only one flaw! The middle of the front seat had a burn mark, a little bigger than the head of a pencil. The headliner is excellent, the back seat looks new, the dash had no cracks, the guages had great detail, the over all interior is great! Back to the engine, The exhaust was so quiet it is probably new, I looked at the end of the pipes and they show very little surface age. In my running of the car I would bank on this car being an original low miles car! Two items of note. I can't find where to edit it but the seats look like they are vinyl as I viewed the burn this AM. Secondly, the tires are a very good Goodyear with great tread all around! I also had the car washed and am adding some more pics.On Apr-29-11 at 16:39:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Owner contacted me to remind me it has a new battery and recently new brakes. AC has been converted to the 134 in the year 2k with attached certification under hood.
