Hello you are about to bid on a very clean 86 VW Scirocco 16V. Let me start with the best part. The engine was completely rebuilt. Reason for rebuild is the car sat so long and it started right up. after running for a couple hrs and sitting over night the rings stuck and let no compression build, so i had the engine overhauled. This included new bearings, rings, timing belt, head has new guides,seals,valves. after getting the engine back together. I than ran into another issue. It has a cold start issue. after about 4 min it will stay running and runs awesome. There are new Brake calipers on rear. the wheels and tires are great.This is a great car that is getting hard to find and only needs a few things to drive on the road. No rot and very clean engine bay. this is a great starting point for a great VW. Get it ready for H2oI Here is what it needs1. fix the cold starting issue2. bleed the brake system. There is a brand new Interstate battery ( 165.00 value )The engine over haul was ( $1000.00 )Brake calipers where ( $125.00 each )I have not had time to figure out the cold starting issue or bleed the brakes.
