For sale is very original example of an exceptionally rare and desirable british sports car. If you are familiar with the MGC you realize that it was a very limited production car and not a great many still survive in good condition. This is a very solid rust free example that is still pretty much original. I acquired it from an elderly gentleman that had owned it for almost 30 years It has had a recent repaint in the original british racing green, which I consider the very best color for an english sports car. It was a very good paint job, but not concour quality, but neither is my price. the interior is the original and is still very presentable for a nice driver. The top appears also to be original and has a couple of the usual tears in the back corners from improperly folding down the top. They have been repaired and it is still very servicable. The carpet also appears to be original and still has the factory rubber mats and rail covers. It currently has a TR4 steering wheel on it but comes with a period wood wheel that needs some work. The austin healy 6 cyl engine starts quick and runs smoothly. The 4 speed transmission shifts smooth and the overdrive works great. It has a good set of 15 inch wire wheels with new steel belted radials. I have owned it for about a year and driven it probably less than a thousand miles. I have priced it quite cheaply at a buy it now of $11,500. If you purchase it for the buy it now I will include a lot of extras, including, but not limited to a new carpet set, a later model MGB top frame freshly sandblasted and powdercoated and a new top. Also an almost new tonneau cover and a complete new set of rubber weatherstripping. I require a deposit of $500 by paypal and the balance in 7 days. I can store it longer if necessory.
