Vehicle Detail
Well, I'm finally admitting that I will never get to this one before an upcoming move. Not that she doesn't deserve it -- a 1968 Triumph Daytona, T100R, with matching engine and frame numbers and a current title in my name. A great candidate to turn into a cafe racer or keep bone stock.Granted you'll be building the bike from bits, but there's a lot here at the pictures show. I have never inventoried the parts, but I do know that the carbs are missing. The engine is partially assembled, but turns. What you see is what you get. I also have a seat for it that is not pictured. If you're up for the task, you can have a real classic when you're finished. And the value of 1960s Triumphs are moving steadily towards the stratosphere. The last picture shows a restored bike as an example of what can be done. This will probably be the least expensive classic Triumph on eBay this spring. No reserve, so the winning bidder takes it. TERMS: Please read carefully, your bid indicates you have agreed to all of the following. Of course the motorcyle project is sold AS IS, WHERE IS with absolutely no warranty. It's garaged in Terre Haute, Indiana, about fifteen minutes north of Exit 11 off Interstate 70. The buyer will have full responsibility for taking possession; I will not ship. A non-refundable deposit of $200 US must be received within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Payment in full must be received within five calendar days after the close of the auction and must be removed within ten calendar days. Bidders with less than a feedback score of ten may have their bid cancelled if they do not send me a message through eBay before bidding. Just tell me that your serious; there's a lot of nonsense going on with motorcycle auctions -- witness the number of ones relisted. Your bid indicates that you have read and accepted these terms. Go for it!
