This is an outstanding, 1982 Mercedes Benz 300TD-Turbo Diesel. Due to my job relocation back to Europe, I’m regretfully parting with my wonderful Mercedes 300TD wagon. This wagon is gorgeous, rust free and has low original miles. This classic beauty is in exceptional condition and is ready to be driven anywhere! Please read the description below and take a look at the 50+ photos, as they will truly tell the rest of the story..... This amazing 300TD looks beautiful from every angle. The body is straight and the paint shines like new. All the exterior chrome, rubber, glass, etc on the car look great. The window seals are in excellent condition, soft and supple without any cracking. Even the headlight doors are flawless. The tires are all like new with lots of tread remaining. The rims are flawless and look like new. Please note, there are some very minor “ dings”, only visible upon very close inspection and at the right angle. The interior is also beautiful. The seats are in great shape and show almost no wear. All of the wood trim is brilliant and glossy without any peeling or cracking. Even the window switches show minimal wear. All of the interior carpet (even in the cargo areas, back of the bench seat, lift gate etc.) was replaced with brand new factory Mercedes loop wool carpeting. That finishing touch makes the interior feel like you are in a brand new car. Unfortunately the headliner does have some very small tears, mostly less than a centimeter in diameter and luckily they are fairly inconspicuous. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean and dry. The undercarriage still has much of it’s cosmoline undercoating. The original spare in the trunk appears to be unused. Mechanically, this Mercedes Benz 300TD runs and drives great! The engine starts right up, even on cold mornings. It idles and runs smooth and has great power!!! All accessories and controls function… including the power windows, door locks, power sunroof power antenna, gauges, etc. The air conditioning works well and blows ice cold! The car handles great, the steering is tight and straight. This is a solid car! For now the meter mileage reads 192,000 miles. This beautiful wagon is sure to please!
