Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1956 Ford F100 Panel Delivery Truck. This old Panel sports a 223 Overhead Valve 6 cylinder engine, with a 3-speed on the column transmission. The rear end gear ratio is 3.73 with 120 HP. This Panel truck runs excellent, and the gear ratio lets it roll right on down the highway nicely. The clutch and brakes feel good and without any slippage. There aren't any weird vibrations or noisy gear sounds. This Panel Truck was owned by a painting company for several years, and didn't have to haul anything too heavy. It has the stock 15 inch wheels with stainless beauty rings and Ford caps. The tires measure 235 x 15, they are in decent shape but getting older. Everything appears to be stock on this truck other than the chrome grill with the V8 emblem. All the wiring appears to be in good shape and everything is 12 volt. The lights, turn signals, heater, and wipers all work fine. The windshield is cracked, but I have a nice used replacement windshield for it. There are also cracks in the passenger side window and the rear window, which is flat glass and should be easily replaced. As you can see in the picture, the body is in pretty good shape, no major dents or damage. There are some small rust bubble pockets on the body and on lower right side door. The running boards have some rusted out places, but all the rust spots are very repairable. The front inner floorboards are excellent, no rust. The dash is uncut with the original paint. The front seats are original, but need to be reupholstered. The rear floor is made like a pickup box with wood and metal strips. It is in good shape, but has a lot of paint spilled on it. The original rear door and bumper are in good shape. The rear lower panel may need some work in the future. As everyone knows, 56 Fords are the coolest Panel trucks around, and there aren't many left. I have been driving this old truck around quite a bit and it drives good, no problems. I just gave it a fresh service as well so it is ready to go. I also checked the stock spare under the body in the back, and its good. The little motor runs excellent, no smoke and good power. Not even hardly any oil leaks! I am selling this truck at a low reserve, so thanks for looking! If you have any questions call Jack at: 208-888-1240 (GMT USA). This truck is also for sale locally.
