DESCRIPTION:

The 1995 Mercedes S-Class has a timeless design the exudes luxury. Our turbo-diesel powered 3.5L, 6-cylinder Mercedes S350 looks great inside and out! The car has been maintained good over the years and the miles are low for a 1995 model, but this Benz is in need of some maintenance to be 100%. Don't get me wrong, the car runs and drives great. It goes down the road with good acdeleration and the ride is supple and comfortable with no sqeaks, moans or rattles. The car is as luxurious today as it was when it was new. All the electronics seem to function properly and the fit and finish looks nice all over. The paint is glossy and has only a few issues to note. The body is straight and the CARFAX is clean with no history of accidents. This car was originally purchased in Virginia and has stayed here it's entire life through three owners. The interior is a beautiful tan leather with rich wood trim and it looks nice all over. The interior issues are few and minor like: a small rust colored stain on the rear seat bottom, four small rust colored stains on the right front seat bottom, some loose vinyl trim on the right side "A" pillar and left side "B" pillar, a dirty center console armrest, some scuffed door sills, a cracked driver's door speaker cover, and some light stains on the floor mats here and there. Thats it inside. All those imperfections are minor and easily repaired. Outside the car looks great from a short distance, but up real close you can see some minor paint flaws that can be easily repaired with touch-up paint or some buffing. Here is a list of exterior paint blemishes:

Front Bumper: A couple tiny chips.

Grille: A small dent and some chips in the chrome.

Hood: Multiple tiny paint chips and one small one that is rusting (see pic below).

Left Fender: A couple tiny chips.

Left Front Door: A tiny chip in the center.

Left Rear Door: A tiny black mark and light scratch in the center.

Left 1/4 Panel: Nice.

Trunk Lid: Multiple long, but light scratches and one shorter deep scratch.

Rear Bumper: A couple tiny chips.

Right 1/4 Panel: Glue residue around the backing indicator (see pic below).

Right Rear Door: Several black marks toward the front.

Right Front Door: Chips on the lower body panel and some white paint spray (see pics below).

Right Fender: White paint at the bottom behind the wheel and a couple tiny chips.

Mirrors: A couple tiny chips and scratches.

Windshield: Multiple very tiny surface chips (Will pass inspection with no problem).

Glass: Nice all around.

Roof: Nice.

Wheels: The alloy wheels have clear coat fade and stress lines and some brake dust etching.

That's it outside. All very minor and easily repaired paint blemishes.

Mechanically, this Benz needs the following work: The left rear tire is below spec and will not pass a new State Inspection, the belt tensioner pulley is noisy, there is a bad oil level sender, a leaking EGR gasket, front brake rotors that are below spec and will not pass a new State Inspection, rear brake pads that are below spec and will not pass a new State Inspection, a worn steering gear box (you can't even notice this when driving), multiple minor engine oil leaks, and an engine oil consumption problem that consumes about a quart of oil every 300-400 miles. The oil consumption may be slower depending on your driving habits. These old diesel engines are prone to oil consumption and you just need to keep an eye on the oil level and keep some extra oil in the car. The exhaust from the car is clear when the car is idling and under normal acceleration. It puts out some normal black smoke upon hard acceleration.

Thats about it for mechanical problems, but there may be a few minor items we missed during our limited inspection of the car. We have been servicing this car for a couple years and most of the aforementioned items were diagnosed months ago. The previous owner just traded the car in for something newer. A few of the items will keep the car from passing a new State Inspection. We can sell the car with the current VA State Inspection for out-of-state residents or with a VA State Rejection sticker for in-state residents.

So, overall this is one great looking, great driving, luxurious Benz that needs some mechanical repairs to be 100%. We are selling this car with a $1.00 Starting Bid and NO RESERVE so BID NOW and BID OFTEN!!!
