I am 56 years old BMW enthusiast, and I am the second owner of this bike. I bought it from another 56 year old "original owner" at the end of last summer with the intention of getting it farkeled to perfection, and taking an extended trip with my son this summer. Unfortunately, the trip is not going to happen, and I am reluctantly selling the bike. The bike is in beautiful shape. I have put Ohlins suspension front and back. I had the suspension set for a 210 pound rider. I put on a original BMW Adventurer windshield, cruise control, a larger bottom for the side stand, and a BMW made tank bag. I will send the original windscreen with the bike. I have the grab rail piece around here some where, and I will put it back on the bike before it goes. I found it was easier to swing my leg over the back of the bike with out it. I do not believe the side cases have ever been used. They are perfect. The bike has 7682 miles on it, and I would imagine that wont change before it sells. I do not plan on riding it any more. The bike has had its 6k service completed. I have the original owners manual, the Ohlins manual and guarantee, the title, and a few other odds and ends.There is only one flaw that I could find any where on the bike. The right side valve cover has a small scrape. It is depicted as accurately as possible in the photo. The tires are original, but they are still in good shape.I will do what ever I can to make shipping easy on this end, but shipping will be the buyers responsibility. I think it goes with out saying that you could fly in and drive it home to any where with out a problem.
