Vehicle Detail
This is the second time this car has ever been offered for sale and is a once in a lifetime find for someone searching for a Buick GS in pristine condition. This car has been garaged and driven in salt free Texas it's whole life. It is equipped with a 350 Ram Air V-8 engine, aluminum intake manifold, 4 bbl carb, automatic transmission, transmission cooler, 3.08-1 rear gears, power front disc brakes, power steering, dual exhausts, bucket seats, console, 14" rally wheels, factory a/c, AM/FM stereo, Protecto Plate, and build sheet! This super nice GS is ready to drive anywhere. This Buick has been owned by two owners. This car has been owned by my Uncle for 40 years. My Uncle replaced any part if it has even the smallest defect. The car had meticulous maintenance schedule. The Buick has a numbers matching engine and transmission. It starts, runs, shifts, and drives great. The car seems to have an inner glow that can only come from someone spending countless hours sanding and polishing the sheet-metal and paint. All the original sheet-metal is still on the car. The finish is so glossy, it's hard to resist running your fingers down the side because you're thinking it might still be wet. All the chrome and stainless has been restored or replaced. The front and rear bumpers are smooth enough to use as mirrors when you shave each morning. Texas state inspected and registered. Please contact me if you have any further questions. I am listing the car for my Aunt under my user name. Feel free to request a test drive. I have here just a small sampling of the METICULOUS maintenance records that this Buick has. The first few are a a few pages of a detailed spreadsheet of almost every repair, the price of almost every repair, and a running total of the cost of almost every repair that has been done. There are many more pages that are there I just didn't take pictures of every single page. The last picture is a letter that my uncle sent to a company back in 86 because he wanted an exact replica of an original part and there were minor discrepancies so he wrote them a 4 page letter detailing what was wrong with the part and how he wanted the exact right part...just to give you an idea of how well this car was taken care of. ![]()
