You are bidding on a hard to find Jeep J-2000 Pick-Up Truck. I purchased this vehicle in 2007 as a weekend toy when I lived in Detroit, but it ran so well that I turned it into my everyday runner in 2008 (I worked five miles from home in Detroit, and now work five miles from work in Chicago). There is a Rhino Grill installed on the front, so it looks like a 60s style Gladiator. The step up bed in the back makes it look like an 80s style J-Series, and it has the original 70s 360 AMC 5.9 V8 with the double barrel carburator and an after market dual exhaust. Here are the details: 360 AMC V8, 2bbl Carb T-15 3 speed transmission, Dana 20 transfer case Dana 44 front and rear. 3.73 gears. Warn auto locking front hubs Custom moon roof Three inch lift, 33x12.50 tires American Racing Rims Front tow hooks Newer rear diamond plate bumper Front and back brakes were completely redone in August 2009 by Albright Automotive. There is no power break booster, but you get used to the additional required foot pressure quickly. Clutch was redone in 2008. Dual shifter for 2WD Hi Lo/4WD Hi Lo High def radio with Aux jack for I-Pod and new door mounted speakers Herculined bed liner. Bed is 7ft, by 4ft Newer steering wheel and barrings. Incredible handling. The power steering on this truck is amazing. It was done by the previous owner, and he did a great job on this modification. I parallel park this monster all over Chicago. Twenty gallon gas tank Carpet kit I don't tow with it, but the hardwear is in the back to install. This would be a great truck to tow your classic car to auto shows. There are some small rust spots on the front and around the front fenders. Both the rear fenders are getting scuffed from going in and out of tight parking garages. Some cracks in the dash. Parking break does not engage. Leaks a little oil and a little coolant. This truck is not for everyone. People will stop you and tell you how awesome your truck is. People will take its picture without your permission. So please don't bid if you are shy by nature. This truck shares a lot of parts with the Wagoneer, and you can track down parts when needed on the internet. I also have both the Haynes and the Chilton manuals that cover this make and model.
