1972 corvette stingray matching number motor No reserve. the car is a 350 auto with ac (missing compressor) non power brake vehicle.it has removeable t-tops and rear glass.it has the original motor which runs very well (no smoke and smooth).it goes into gear strong and has a brake pedal.the speedo says 77500.( i do not know how accurate that is).the interior seems original and the dash is in good shape.not sure if all gauges are working.it does need new carpet and there are no door panels and missing some small hardware (one window crank). the seats need refinishing.it is also missing one marker light as well as door locks ,antenna and emblems.the exterior seems to be in good shape just in need of a paint job.the original color was steel city gray but was repainted a light blue which is faded and flaked off the fiberglass is in good shape . i bought this car last year with the intention of making a nice weekend driver but have not had time to start working on it so i am going to let it go.. i have not been able to drive the car because the frame needs to be changed due to excessive rust.i was hoping to be able to repair sections of this frame but i think it is too far gone especially in front of the rear wheels. i did purchase another good frame from a 1970 lt1 vette and was going to blast and paint it and do a switch.the frame is included in the auction ( i need to remove the rear and suspension from it.they are not included)this frame will need a new section put on in front of the drivers rear wheel approximatly 12"..i was givin a price of $250 from a welder friend of mine to repair.again i just dont have the time or space to get involved right now. i have purchased some new parts to go with the car and they are also included in the auction.they include a new fuel tank,sending unit,small rubber fuel lines ( fuel tank is out of the car).also i did tune up the motor with new plugs ,wires,points,cap ,rotor and a oil change. i will be listing this car locally and reserve the right to cancell the auction at any time.any questions call mike at 631-365-5396 and leave a message i will get back to you..the car comes with a transferrable new york state registration.
