Greetings. Up for auction is my 1973 Gremlin X converted to 4wd. You may have seen this car on Ebay about a year ago, which is when I bought it. 304 with the R4B intake/edelbrock aluminum valve covers, T-10 4 speed, hurst shifter, CJ5 front & rear axle assembly. This is a Levi's interior car. Front seats need to be redone(do they sell a kit for that?). Rear seat is fair. Engine runs strong, but I had to put a anti fouler on the 8th cylinder. Oil was fouling out the plug. This Gremlin has been my daily driver for a little under a year, and I never took it off road. Not wise to go mudding in your only form of transportation. Has 31 inch tires in great shape. The Gremlin could be put back to stock form. It does not have a foreign frame. Nothing was cut structurally. The fender lips have been cut some. You can see were the previous owner had fender moldings covering the lips. Also, there are holes in the hood from a hood scoop. Looks like the previous owner had an Cougar Eliminator scoop. Grille is cracked. I do have the bumpers and they're in good shape. I thought it looked better without them, so I left them off. Transfer case has made noise since i bought the car. I have purchased another transfer case to go with the car. I have another Borg Warner 4 speed that will go with the car if the price is right. Nothing wrong with the transmission now, but it's always good to have a spare. This car is not a rust bucket. Floor pans from front to back are rust free. What rust you see in the pictures is the rust thats on the car. When I bought this car off ebay, the seller was not truthful about the description of the car. The seller also promised to refund some of the money after my complaints through ebay, in which he left me hanging and never did. Ask me any question, and it will be answered truthfully. I didn't gussy up the car to take pictures. what you see is what you get. I 've owned around 30 classic cars, mostly AMC, and non of the cars get more attention than this one! I know a lot of people say that in there add, but trust me, this car turns some heads! Reason I'm selling is I needed a truck for hauling.
