Vehicle Detail
I have a 1969 camaro that for sale that I was working on. I don’t have time or the money to work on it anymore so I am going to pass the torch to the next person to finish this project. The car has had a lot done to it which include new door panels, new carpet, new sill plates, new rear quarters welded in, new trunk drop offs, new full floors throughout the car, new cowl induction hood, new windshield and back glass, new marker lights and door handles. The car has had a 4 link rear suspension put in it with a ford 9 inch housing that has been cut down to fit the minitub that was done on it. The guy that did the tubing on It says it will comfortably fit a 10” but a 12” wheel will go under it also. This does not affect the rear seating and it looks factory when you open up the trunk. It does have a chevy camaro bolt pattern in the rear. The back seat is useable, but needs to be covered to be made nice. I don’t have any front seats for it. The firewall has been smoothed for the more modern look. The car needs to be blocked and primed a couple more times and it would be ready for paint. That is what I was working on when I stopped. There is NO RUST anywhere on the car at all. All floors have been cut out and welded in so the bottom of the car looks as good as the top of the car does. It does not have any running gear in the car currently. It comes with new rubber seals, radiator, and anything else I can find to throw in that I have for it. This is a very very good start for someone to run with. The interior needs a headliner, sail panels, and seats and a dash pad and it would be done. The door panels are new and look good. Underneath the hood has all been sandblasted and painted flat black, so it looks original. It has a new brake booster and master cylinder on it. All doors open and close good and the gaps only need minor adjustment whenever you get ready for paint. There has been thousands of dollars put into this car and it is an excellent start for someone. The car needs paint, a running gear, a headliner, seats, and a dash pad and it would be finished. Like I said, I hate to sell it, but it is only collecting dust at the moment and I don’t have the time or money to do the car justice. I will not accept any trades at this time and I will expect full payment to be made within 5 days of the auction end. I am requesting that the winning bidder contact me within 24 hours after the auction ends. Shipping is the buyers responsibility and the car has no running in it so if a shipper comes, it will need to have a winch.
