Vehicle Detail
I am possible selling my 1994 911 Speedster. As most of you know, a total of 936 were produced with only 427 imported to the United States, mine being #99. I like to think of myself being the second owner, but as you will see on Carfax, technically I am the third owner. The second owner had the car for only a year and a half; I have owned the care for the past seven years. The car has a clean Carfax, as you will see. I am 99% certain that I have all the receipts for the car, I have a couple from the original owner, and I won’t say 100% because I did not buy the car new. I have all the receipts from the time I have owned the car. The car is in excellent condition except the “clamshell” has a scratch on each side where the top touches it. I have seen this on almost every “1994” Speedster for sale, (very few). I would say it is a design flaw. I had them professionally fixed, and they came back quickly, you can see from the pics. Also, the right front bumper has a scratch. I do not want to misrepresent this car. It is in great condition, but some people are “really” picky when it comes to paint, (I don’t blame them). I have all the books, manuals, tool kit, air pump, car cover, original wheels, even the factory flash light that came with the car. One important thing, I lost the Monterey “window sticker”. I had it all this time, and when I moved, I cannot find it. Porsche cannot make another one, but I can get a certificate of Authenticity. This will have the VIN number, date of build, color and all options listed for the car. Porsche said it is suitable for framing, it costs 100.00 dollars, and I will deduct that amount from the sale price of the car. I have made some modifications to the car; all but three can be put back to factory specs with simple hand tools. I put in a stage 2 chip, a Porsche Cup bypass pipe, and K&N cone air filter, supposedly it should have around 280bhp. I have the original chip and muffler, (it sounds so much better now), and air box. I have put racing pedals, new stereo (Blaupunkt mp3), sub boxes were professionally done in California with factory Porsche carpet. I wanted it to sound great, but look stock. The amplifier is under the passenger seat so you can have all of the truck space for that weekend trip. I had the VDO gauges shipped to California and done in white, I installed a 930S type three prong steering wheel with air bag. It looks so much better and feels better than the four prongs. I hated that “ET” third brake light, I had it taken off and LED lights put in the grill on the rear deck lid. Doing this, I had to have the entire deck lid painted, so I have to say it has had some paint work. I have the “ET” light and a body shop can reinstall. Also, I have put H&R springs, I have the factory springs. The car is ready for spring and ready to be driven. The car is paid for, no lein and I have title in hand. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me or email. I will do my best to return your call or email in a timely fashion. Brad 812-987-9568.
