Up for sale is my RUST-FREE & BONE-STOCK 89 Dodge 3/4ton LE250 4x4 Cummins 12-valve TURBO Diesel with the Getrag 5speed trans! This truck has an absolutely STELLAR history report showing no accidents, above average rating, and only 2 owners including myself!!!!!!!!!!! This is an original CALIFORNIA NO-RUST truck!!! There is some surface rust here and there, normal for a vehicle of this age, but no body rot anywhere! I have a COPY of the original CLASSIC 4"x 4 3/8" California PINK SLIP from the orig owner showing an issue date of 4/21/89. I also have all the original books for this truck. Note the sequential VIN number: 125500! Kind of unique to say the least! Truck has 218K miles on it and still runs like a swiss watch! The turbo spools-up perfectly!!! This truck gets the BEST gas mileage of all the diesel trucks out there with the manual trans. I consistently get 20 ~ 22 mpg with this truck! This is the 1st year the Cummins was put in the Dodge pickups, therefore it has virtually no smog/computer issues. This is raw Cummins Turbo Diesel power without all the later-model add-ons. Engine is Bone Stock & UN-TWEEKED & NO fluid leaks of any kind! I have replaced all the battery post connectors with new ones which I soldered the connectors on therefore will give years of trouble-free service!! I also replaced the battery in Dec/2010 with a COMMERCIAL Big-Rig type battery! Lots of Cold Cranking Amps! I drive this truck everywhere including long trips, it's my daily driver & is currently registered & insured & VERY DEPENDABLE!! This truck looks OK, but is showing some signs of age of 22 yrs. The inside of the bed has been used as a truck so it has numerous dents ect. The truck was repainted (not stock colors) 3 years ago by Maaco. The paint is currently peeling in 2 areas. A small spot on top/left side of tailgate and on back of cab just below bed level. The truck has: PS, PB, manual windows, seat, & door locks, AM-FM Cassette(cassette player still works perfectly!), intermittent wipers, trailer brake controller, cloth bench seat in very good condition with no tears in the cloth part, just one small tear on the left side vinyl part by hinge(see pic). Dash has NO cracks what-so-ever. Heater/defroster work perfectly but A/C blows warm. All guages & lights(inside & outside) are fully functional, basically everything on the truck works great except the A/C. I have a CLEAN/CLEAR Nevada Title in hand! The Bad: 1) A/C blows warm but all components are intact & untouched. 2) The 4x4 light on dash does not illuminate when in 4 Wheel Drive. I changed the bulb with a new one and it still won't come on. I suspect the switch on Xfer case might be bad or maybe wiring. 4 wheel drive DOES work perfectly though, just indicator doesn't light. 3) The right door has a large dent(see pic). I have the 3 inch wide moulding for the pass door & it appears to be un-damaged as well as the retaining clips. 4) Tires have 40% tread remaining but still good for maybe another 8 ~ 10K miles.
