Up for auction is an original 1955 Pontiac 2 door hardtop, v8, automatic transmission. I just purchased this car from a couple in Shelby, NC. The owner said she had inherited the car from her father when he passed away in 1986. It has had one repaint and is in really good condition. The paint is beginning to show its age, but this car is in great running condition and could be driven anywhere. The interior is very nice. All of the gauges, interior lights, horn, etc. work on the car just as they should. I would call this a rust free car, except for very little rust on the right side floor pan. There is no other rust anywhere. The trunk and floors look nice. The frame is nice. The car has 99,000 actual miles. It started its life in Georgia. The original owners manual is included. I could go on and on about this car, but it is just a really good car for its age. These cars are getting really hard to find, especially in the 2 door hardtop. Selling “AS IS” with no warranty.
