Vehicle Detail

1973 Buick LeSabre This is a Grandma and Grandpas car. Thought that Ebay would be a good way to sell this car since it is still pretty much a survivor classic. Low 83,000 original miles. Very straight and clean car. Original title, I mean, we have the original first title from the dealer when the car was sold new, clear and ready to sign over that has never been put in anyone else's name yet. Other original papers are present with the dealer new key tag and punch outs from the first keys on the same ring with the stock number on the tag being the same as the one inside the drivers door jam. Automatic with a 350 V8 4 bbl. The car is not a perfect show car but is still in excellent shape all over. The three flaws on the interior is moisture damage to the rear decking cardboard piece, some cracks in the steering wheel, and the drivers seat back has a tear down the side. Carpet is good and clean, no damage or cracks in the dash pad or panel, headliner is not damaged, doorpanels are also excellent. On the exterior the vinyl top is cracked with age and there is one spot duct taped years ago as shown. Rust is minimal to none showing. There is a close up picture of the drivers side rear quarter near the trim that a rust hairline is forming. The 3 original black rubber floor mats with the Buick logo in white on them are in the trunk. Inside the trunk there is surface rust. The underbody of the car, the floors and such, have about as much factory blue paint showing as there is peppered surface rust showing but no soft or cancerous rust. No real body damage but you can see some blended repaint on the passenger door and quarter. There is a ding in the front of the hood to the right of the buick emblem seen in the head on photo. A couple other barely noticeable dings in the drivers rear quarter midway down. The stripping on the passenger door is a little bent on the end as seen in the close up photo. The car will start and run fine. There is no known problems with the motor or transmission at all. 2 things to note: The radiator or a hose is leaking water. The brakes work but are week and the pedal goes down much further than it should and I have not checked the brake fluid yet either but can tomorrow whenI go back there. I just figure most potential parties would want to be assured that the the motor and drivetrain are in good working order and that the car will start and run down the road without any real problems. Normal tune up stuff, but no negative surprises like a blown head gasket or slipping tranny. The car had been a driver until sitting about a year ago and has been garage kept. There will be no reserve on this car and it will absolutely sell to the highest bidder. As you see this statement over and over again here on Ebay I would have to agree: Please do not bid if you do not intend to purchase the car. If you have a feedback score that is less than 5 please contact us before bidding to let us know your bid is genuine with serious intent to buy. If you have a negative feedback score or have only 1 or "0" feedback score you must contact us before bidding. We will cancel such bids and immediately add that member name to our blocked list. We are very "normal" and easy to work with on pick up or however we can help the arrangements on the transaction to get us all along the way, we will be there till the end. E-mail us with questions or concerns you may have. On Apr-14-11 at 19:40:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note: I filled up the water level today and allowed the car to run for quite a while and experienced no leaks at all, so I may have just miscalculated that it had a leak when I pulled it out a week ago. The brakes however are soft still. I checked the brake fluid reservoir also and added an insignificant amount, but still the same weakness in the pedal pressure. So the brakes are evident, but have only a small amount of braking power. I did not see any leaks or notice any brake fluid level loss. The power brake diaphragm? could be bad or something else, not sure.
