This auction is for a 1967 lincoln continental convertible. If you have under ten feed back please contact us before you place a bid. It is the last year for the suicide door convertible. Only 2276 units were built that year. This came out of a large collection of collector cars that a lincoln dealer owned for many years until he passed away. He had so many he never would have had time to get to this one so we are offering it as a great parts car or a complete resto piece should you decide to go that route. The car has the original 93000 mile 462 V-8 but is stuck from sitting. We did pull the plugs and put some penatrant in all the cylinders shouldn't take much to free it up . Has auto trans , ps ,pb , p windows, p locks, p antenna,8 way power seat , leather interior, ac, factory am 8 track radio etc. There is rust through on the lower rear quarters and some repair on the drivers side front fender bottom. The car had been sanded down and left in storage like that so we just put a coat of primer on it to keep it from surface rusting. I took some pics of the underside and it actually isn't too bad. The frame is all solid . There is some rust through on the drivers front floor pan and some on the far rear inner rocker panel passenger side. Usually the doors and trunk lid are prone to rot ,but these are solid. I beleive the front spring on the passenger side is weak as it tends to lean in that direction. The top frame on this car is remarkably nice. The middle of the top material is gone. All the glass is good with the exception of the windshield being cracked. So it's your call super parts car or nice restoration project. please check out my other auctions .
