These cars have become very collectible in the last 3 years, along the 911 version of the same type. The VIN # 12870242 & motor # 1281132, indicates this car was built by Porsche in August of 1967 and imported to the USA in or around September of the same year. The soft window Targas' were only available in 1967 & 1968, with VERY limited production in 1969. There is reason to believe trhat there even a few special order SWT's built in 1970. This car was mechanically brought up to date by Bernie Buschen , the owner of Eurpoean Autowerke. Brakes, wheels seals, brake lines, caliper rebuild, plugs ,points, condeser, new fuel pump, new voltage regulator. New CV joint boots & new axles. ( ETC: ) complete list on demand. Also, this car has a fresh new Glasurit paint in Sand Beige , new soft window boot with seals, new interior carpet, new upholstery by Soreson's ( Pasadena ), new tyres. It is equipped with the correct Blaupunkt stereo and an under dash AM_FM stereo ( with remote). Please be advised that this car is also available ( for sale) through other local websites and Porsche BB's. The car is availble for inspection here in Los Angeles , CA. Prospective buyers are encourage to have PPI's and inspection by local mechanic. This will be a 5 day auction.
