1991 K-5 BLAZER 4X4 LAST OF THE GENERATION READY TO RESTORE! I was bidding on two Blazers here on e-bay. As luck would have it I won both of them! This one is just taking up space so I thought I would re-list it to recoop some$$$$. As most k5 affectionados know, 90 and 91 were especially desirable because of the updated front end and fuel injected motor. This is a SILVERADO which was the nicest trim package in 1991. The truck has: POWER WINDOWS-POWER LOCKS-TILT WHEEL-CRUISE CONTROL-CAPTAINS CHAIRS. First the bad: I got it from North Carolina so yes it does have some rust! It has a 700r4 automatic trans which starts to slip when warm. Obviously it needs to be repainted. Now the good: IT IS COMPLETE AND HAS NOT BEEN CUT UP INTO A TRAIL TRUCK! The stock 350 sounds great! no noticable leaks and no smoke. Power steering and brakes are good. Hell the a/c even kinda works! The mileage is accurate. The outer sheet metal could be repaired. It will definately need new rockers. The interior is in almost unbelievable shape. Seats are super nice for the age and foam is good. Dash has a couple of cracks but dont they all? Check out the impossible to find factory alloys. (could use new tires) Even the windshield is in great shape. Most of these trucks have been lifted used and abused then thrown away. Not very many left so here is a chance to buy one cheap and redo alonng the way. I have taken a pic of some reciepts I found in the glove box. Shows a good deal of maintenance and repairs in the last 18 months. Even has the inspection report from the dealer back in 1991. DISCLAIMER: This is a 20 year old project vehicle and priced accordingly. It does have some rust and is repairable but you decide if you want to do it. No trades please I just need the room.
